Terms of Use (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("EULA" or "Terms") is a binding agreement between you and the developer of Solara ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Solara (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Solara, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and that you accept these Terms of Use.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Standard EULA.

3. Use of the App

Solara is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse, copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, distribute, or disrupt the App or any of its services.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Solara offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock premium features. The following terms apply to all subscriptions:

• Title and length of subscription: Subscription titles, durations (e.g., monthly or yearly), and the content or services they provide are displayed within the App prior to purchase.
• Price: The price of each subscription is clearly shown within the App prior to purchase, in your local currency where available.
• Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.
• Managing or cancelling: You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Cancellation of the current subscription period is not allowed during the active subscription period.
• Subscription processing: All purchases are billed through Apple's App Store. Subscription validation and entitlement are handled on our behalf by RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment details.

5. Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle information.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property in the App are owned by us or our licensors. No rights are granted to you other than the limited license described in these Terms.

9. No Guarantees / Health Disclaimer

Solara is provided to support mindfulness and well-being, but is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Results may vary, and the App does not guarantee specific outcomes. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical or mental health condition.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the App.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

14. Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, except to the extent superseded by local consumer protection laws.
